These terms apply to all purchases on kast.dk. If you buy as a consumer, you always have at least the rights the law gives you.
2. The products
We mainly sell used disc golf discs. Each disc is a one-off and is photographed and described with condition (A to D), ink and weight. The pictures show the disc you will receive. Colours may look slightly different on a screen than in real life. Flight numbers are the manufacturer's and are for guidance only.
3. Prices and VAT
All prices are in Danish kroner. Shipping is shown in the cart and at checkout before you pay.
Our used goods are sold under the special rules for second-hand goods (the Danish margin scheme, brugtmomsordningen). Therefore, VAT is not shown on the invoice, and the buyer cannot deduct the VAT.
For delivery to Norway, the goods are sold without Danish VAT. Norwegian VAT and any customs clearance fees are charged by the carrier on delivery and are paid by you.
4. Ordering and contract
The contract is concluded when you have paid and received an order confirmation by email. Check the confirmation, and write to us as soon as possible if anything is wrong.
Because each disc exists only once, a disc may be sold elsewhere, for example at an event, just before you order it. In that case we will let you know and refund the full amount. If a price is obviously wrong, we may also cancel the order and refund the full amount.
5. Payment
You can pay with the payment methods shown at checkout. Payment is handled by Shopify Payments, and we do not see your card details.
6. Delivery
We ship to Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland and Germany. We pack and ship ourselves from Grenaa on weekdays, and the parcel is normally sent the weekday after your order. You will receive an email with a tracking link when the parcel has been sent. After that, the delivery time depends on the carrier and the country.
The parcel is delivered to the address or parcel shop you choose at checkout. If a parcel is not collected and is returned to us, we will contact you. If you want it sent again, you pay the new shipping cost.
The risk for the goods passes to you when you have received them. If a parcel is lost or damaged in transit, we will handle the matter with the carrier.
7. Right of withdrawal
As a consumer, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal. How to withdraw, who pays the return shipping, and how we make the refund is described in our return policy. The right of withdrawal also applies to discs bought at auction. A Mystery Box is one item and must be returned in full.
8. Complaints about defects
You have a 2-year right to complain about defects under the Danish Sale of Goods Act (købeloven). The item must match the description and the pictures. Normal wear that corresponds to the stated condition is not a defect. Read more in our return policy.
9. Auctions
- You must be logged in to bid. Your bid is an offer to buy the disc at the price you bid.
- The highest valid bid at the closing time wins. Bids received after the closing time do not count. We may reject non-serious bids.
- The winner is notified by email. Payment must be made within 24 hours unless otherwise agreed. Shipping is added and paid at the standard rates.
- If the winner does not pay on time, we may offer the disc to the second-highest bidder.
- If you have placed a bid by mistake, write to us as soon as possible.
10. Items without a fixed price
Some collector discs have no fixed price. You can make an offer by writing to us. The offer is non-binding for both parties until we have accepted it and you have paid.
11. Personal data
We use your data to process your order, ship the item and comply with bookkeeping rules. We only share it with the companies that need it to deliver your order, such as the carrier and the payment provider. Read more in our privacy policy.
12. Complaints
First write to us at kastdiscs@gmail.com, and we will usually find a solution. If we cannot agree, you can complain to Nævnenes Hus, Toldboden 2, 8800 Viborg, naevneneshus.dk. If you live in another EU country, you can also get help from Forbruger Europa (the European Consumer Centre Denmark), forbrugereuropa.dk.
13. Governing law
The contract is governed by Danish law. If you are a consumer and live in another country, you keep the protection you have under the law of your own country.
14. Changes
We may change these terms. The terms that applied when you placed your order always apply to your purchase.
